2. Access Data

When you use our website solely for information purposes, in other words, if you do not register with us or provide us with any further information, then we will only collect the personal data that is sent to our server by your browser. If you wish to view our website, we will collect the following data that is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to guarantee stability and security:

However, our web server stores this data separately from other data in the form of W3C web logs with an extended log file format, hence it is not possible for us to associate this data with any specific person. The information is used to monitor and manage the performance and reliability of our web server. In the event of suspected fraudulent activity on our website, these web logs may be used to verify the activities of an anonymous user.

The analysis of data is in the legitimate interests of Jeunesse. The legal basis is Article 6, para. 1, pg. 1, letter f GDPR.

3. Use of Cookies

In addition to the data listed above, cookies, or similar technologies such as pixels (hereinafter referred to as "cookies") are downloaded and saved on your computer when you visit and use our website. Cookies are small text files that are downloaded by your browser and stored on your end device for the purpose of saving specific information, or image files, such as pixels. The next time you access our website on the same end device, the information stored in the cookies will either be sent back to our website ("first party Cookie"), or to another website to which the cookie belongs ("third party cookie").

On the basis of the information which is saved and returned, the respective website detects that you have already accessed and visited this site through the browser on your end device. We use this information to help us to optimally design and display the website for you, based on your preferences. In this process, only the cookie itself is identified on your end device. Any further storage of your personal data will only take place if you have given us your express consent to do so, or where this is absolutely necessary to ensure that you can use the respective service offered which you have accessed.

This website uses the following types of cookies and their scope and function is explained below:

• Strictly necessary cookies (type a)

• Functionality and performance cookies (type b)

• Cookies that require consent (type c)

With the tools we use, we will inform you of which cookie types are set and used and – if necessary - obtain the corresponding consent before using these cookies.

(1) Strictly necessary cookies (type a)

Strictly necessary cookies guarantee functions without which you would be unable to use our website as intended. These cookies are used only by us and are therefore first party cookies. This means that all information which is stored in these cookies is returned to our website.

Strictly necessary cookies are used, for example, to keep you permanently logged in when you access various websites as a registered user, so that you do not need to enter your log-in data every time you call up a new page.

The use of strictly necessary cookies on our website does not require your permission. For this reason, strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled or enabled individually. However, you have the option to disable all cookies in your browser at any time (see below).

The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6 Para. 1 Page 1 Letter b GDPR.

(2) Functionality and performance cookies (type b)

Functionality cookies allow our website to store information which has already been provided (e.g. registered name or language selection) and to offer you improved and more personalised functions based on this information. These cookies collect and store anonymised data only, therefore they cannot track your movements on other websites.

Performance cookies gather data on how our websites are used, in order to improve their attractiveness, content and functionality based on this information. For example, these cookies help us to determine whether and which sub-pages of our website are visited and which content is of particular interest to users. Specifically we detect, for example, the number of times a page is accessed, the number of sub-pages called up, the time spent on our website, the order in which pages are visited, which search terms led you to us, the country, the region, and sometimes the town in which the access originates, and the number of mobile end devices accessing our web pages. We also record movements, or "clicks", and scrolling of the computer mouse, in order to understand which areas of our website are of particular interest to users. This enables us to tailor the content of our website more specifically to the needs of our users and to optimise our service. Your computer's IP address, which is sent for technical reasons, is anonymised automatically and does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of any individual user.

You can deactivate the use of functionality and performance cookies at any time by changing your cookie settings accordingly.

The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6 Para. 1 Page 1 Letter f GDPR, as processing is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests, and in our opinion, is not outweighed by interests or fundamental rights and basic freedoms that necessitate the protection of your personal data.

(3) Cookies that require consent (type c)

Cookies which are neither strictly necessary (type a), nor functionality or performance cookies (type b), are used only after you have provided your consent. This includes cookies which are sometimes used by external advertisers (third party cookies) for the purpose of collecting information about the users of visited websites, and to create target group oriented advertising for the user.

If you have given us your consent to use these cookies, we will set the following cookies:

- Facebook pixel

We use "Facebook Pixel" on our website, which is a service of Facebook Inc., 1601 S California Ave, Palo Alto, California 94304, USA (hereinafter referred to as: "Facebook"). Facebook Pixel allows Facebook to display our advertisements on Facebook, so-called "Facebook Ads", only to those Facebook users who have visited our website, in particular those who have shown interest in our online offer or in specific topics or products. Facebook Pixel makes it possible to check whether a user was forwarded on to our website after clicking on our Facebook ads. Facebook Pixel uses cookies, which are small text files that are stored locally in the web browser's cache on your end device. If you have logged into Facebook with your user account, the visit to our online range is stored in your user account. The data collected about you in this way remains anonymous for us, consequently this data cannot be used to draw any conclusions or make any associations regarding the identity of the user. However, Facebook can associate or link this data to your local user account. We have no influence on the scope or the further use of data that is collated by Facebook via the use of Facebook Pixel. To the best of our knowledge, Facebook receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding section or area of our website, or clicked on one of our advertisements. If you have a Facebook user account and are registered, Facebook can associate the visit with your user account. Even if you have not created an account with Facebook or have not logged in, it is possible that Facebook will detect and store your IP address, and where applicable, other identifying features.

We use Facebook Pixel for marketing and optimisation purposes, in particular to be able to bring you relevant and interesting advertisements on Facebook, thereby improving our products and services, making your user experience more memorable and preventing nuisance advertisements.

You may object to the collection of your information by Facebook Pixel as described above and the use of your information to show you Facebook ads at any time. You can choose which types of advertisements you see on Facebook by changing your settings on the following Facebook web page: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.

We wish to point out that this setting will be deactivated if you clear your cookies. You can also deactivate cookies that are used for reach metrics and advertising purposes via the following websites:

The information is also published on Facebook and is visible to your Facebook friends.

Facebook can use this information for the purpose of advertising, market research and to design Facebook pages according to user preferences. For this purpose, Facebook creates usage, interest and relationship profiles, for example, to evaluate your use of our website with respect to the advertisements displayed to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users of your activities on our website and to deliver other services related to the use of Facebook.

We will retain the information sent by Facebook only until you request that it is deleted or anonymised.

If you wish to opt out of the data processing outlined here in the future, then please deactivate the link between your user profile and our fan page by using the functions "Unlike this page" and/or "Unsubscribe from this page".
